We begin a new year with different opportunities to witness agricultural events in the United States where technological innovation, applied to the agricultural world, will continue to set trends.

As usual, the diverse activities that will take place during 2023 include exhibitions, congresses, fairs, and workshops, both in person, and online, to present the trends and technological innovations that will be applied throughout the year to improve agricultural processes regionally and globally.

On this occasion, according to information published on the website 10times, we have compiled a list of some of the agricultural events in the United States in 2023 so that agricultural producers and aficionados can program their calendars to take full advantage of the same, and establish new professional alliances, and contacts.

Agricultural events during the first quarter of 2023:

Washington Oregon Potato Conference: Three Rivers Convention Center, Kennewick. January 24-26, 2023

The event will cover several areas including soil, molecular analysis of insect diets seeds, environmental effects on potato glycoalkaloids, modern methods for measuring soil moisture, as well as harvesting, and infrastructure for potato cultivation. Between 500 and 1,000 delegates are expected to attend.

International Production & Processing Expo: Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta. January 24-26, 2023

Considered the world’s largest event designed especially for professionals in the poultry, meat, and feed industries. The expo will showcase the solutions, technologies, research, processes, services, and products that can be applied to the agricultural industry today, as well as the innovations in the animal feed, and protein industries.

The objective of the expo is to bring together sellers and buyers, not only from the U.S. but also from overseas, who wish to acquire the latest technology products and services to boost their businesses. 30,000 attendees are expected, and more than 1,100 exhibitors will be present to offer their products ranging from packaging materials, packaging solutions, and products for the poultry industry.

Colorado Farm Show: Greeley. January 24-26, 2023

This international trade show has over 57 years of history. Those attending will walk through more than 500 exhibits related to agriculture, having the opportunity to learn more about agricultural products, services, and machinery for their projects.

More than 20,000 visitors will be able to purchase agricultural machinery and equipment, seeds and planting material, fertilizers, equipment to implement irrigation systems, pesticides, greenhouse accessories, biotechnology, horticulture, sericulture, fishing, aquaculture, equipment, and dairy products, among others.

Iowa Ag Expo: Iowa Events Center, Des Moines. January 31-February 02, 2023

This is one of the most important agricultural events in the United States that showcases a wide variety of samples and exhibits from manufacturers of machinery, accessories, equipment, and tools related to agriculture, management software developers, and suppliers of diverse services for this industry and other related sectors. An estimated 20,000 visitors and more than 700 exhibitors are expected to participate in the event.

World Ag Expo: International Agri-Center, Tulare County. February 14-16, 2023

The world’s largest outdoor exposition has become a favorite of farmers, being one of the busiest with more than 100,000 visitors each year. There will be more than 1,200 exhibitors in 2.6 million square feet, with the latest in agricultural equipment, services, and technology.

There will also be workshops, and free seminars on topics related to dairy products, agriculture, livestock, and agribusiness professionals.

National Farm Machinery Show: Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville. February 15-18, 2023

An event where attendees can learn about the latest products on the market, including equipment, and machinery designed to improve agricultural services that are available today in the agricultural industry.

During the fair, agribusiness professionals from several countries will be able to broaden their knowledge and discover the technological advances needed for the coming agricultural season. 35,000 visitors and 800 exhibitors are expected to attend.

Western Farm Show: American Royal Center, Kansas City. February 24-26, 2023

Considered the best indoor farm show in the Midwest, the Western Farm Show will provide an opportunity for thousands of visitors to learn about new trends and technological innovations applied to livestock farms and ranches.

One of the attractions of the show is the participation of experts from several parts of the country, representing almost 500 companies that will exhibit their latest products and services for the agricultural and livestock area, such as fertilizers, feed, seeds, and more. 12,000 visitors and more than 250 exhibitors are expected to attend.

Sustainable Food & Farm Conference: Grass Valley. March 03-04, 2023

This event is an opportunity to learn about the technological innovations that answer to the current needs of the agricultural market, so attendees will find out what is being done today to create increasingly sustainable agricultural processes, and products.

Agricultural events during the second quarter of 2023:

Floriexpo: Greater Ft. Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Center, Fort Lauderdale. May 31-June 02, 2023

Thousands of attendees will enjoy the exhibitions of large-scale manufacturers of shrubs and flowers, suppliers and distributors of floral products and accessories, as well as cut flowers.

They will also get to know the point of view of florists working as wholesalers, the resources they distribute such as seeds and seedlings, bulbs, as well as the chemicals used to protect flower crops, preservatives, and post-harvest techniques.

Food and Agri Executive Management Program: Cornell University, Ithaca. June 11-22, 2023

The theme of the event will be “Strategic Leadership through Innovation Drivers in Emerging Markets,” which will address everything related to executive education programs promoted by Sathguru, a firm with more than two decades of experience with this type of program, in cooperation with Cornell University. The objective is to offer a transformative experience for executives from diverse agricultural sectors.

Complex issues in the agri-food industry will be discussed, as well as strategic approaches to address them. The idea is that the emerging markets converging at the event will become increasingly integrated into supply chains through the development of innovative solutions to face global challenges.

Minnesota Farmfest: Redwood Falls. August 01-03, 2023

This is a show to connect the leading manufacturers and suppliers of food processing, arboriculture, horticulture, livestock, and poultry industries, as well as other related industries with agricultural producers who are decision-makers.

Considered one of the largest agricultural events in the world that offers the best products and services to an audience coming from Minnesota’s counties.

The goal is to reunite the best of agribusiness from Minnesota and the rest of the country in one place, providing a space for farmers to network, experiment, and learn how to expand their farming operations. 30,000 visitors are expected to attend and visit more than 500 exhibits.

Dakotafest: Dakotafest, Mitchell. August 15-17, 2023

A festival that reunites some of the best food processing, arboriculture, horticulture, livestock, and poultry businesses, as well as other companies connected to the agricultural industry.

At least 28,000 visitors are expected, and more than 500 exhibitors will be present.

Farm Progress Show: Decatur. August 29-31, 2023

One of the most traditional agricultural events in the United States, which draws in the country’s agricultural producers to see the latest launches of the main manufacturers, along with live and open field demonstrations of harvesters, precision GPS equipment, and planting tools.

70,000 visitors are expected to attend, and more than 120 exhibitors will participate, including equipment manufacturers, seed and crop protection companies, livestock and dairy industry professionals, fertilizer suppliers, educational institutions, and livestock equipment manufacturers.

Husker Harvest Days: Dupont Pioneer, Wood River. September 12-14, 2023

Another major event that offers family farmers a world-class space to network with agricultural industry leaders from around the world.

Farmers and ranchers can gain valuable information about their operations and make lasting connections, as this is the largest fully irrigated working farm show in the world.

An estimated 90,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors are expected to participate.

All American Dairy Show: Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center, Harrisburg. September 16-20, 2023

A show where agricultural exhibitors will showcase their products and services related to the agricultural area, including a variety of services and products for the dairy sector.

World Dairy Expo: Alliant Energy Center, Madison. October 01-06, 2023

This international exhibition of the dairy industry is a worldwide reference in the sector.

The World Dairy Expo is a space where attendees (producers, companies, organizations, and other dairy enthusiasts) can gather to exchange knowledge, points of view, and ways of managing the agricultural world along with technology.

An estimated 65,000 people and more than 700 exhibitors are expected to participate.

PMA Fresh Summit Convention + Expo: Anaheim. October 19-21, 2023

It is one of the most important agricultural events in the United States, where participants related to the world of floral and fresh produce agriculture can meet to exchange ideas and knowledge.

The idea is to expand their portfolio of contacts, strengthen and build new relationships, as well as to propose new businesses.

The event is expected to attract 7,000 visitors to see more than 100 exhibits related to the agricultural sector. Wholesalers, distributors, suppliers of equipment, packaging and technology, transportation, as well as representatives of food safety programs, among others, will also be present.

Kansas Agri Business Expo: Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center, Wichita. November 15-16, 2023.

More than 500 participating exhibitors will showcase the most advanced products and services in the agricultural world.

The fertilizer equipment used today will also be displayed, along with conversations about what biological marketing is all about, as well as the technological tools used in the agricultural industry.

This is an event designed for farmers to learn about all those details that make a difference, promising to provide greater crop protection in the face of new challenges.
