Agricultural events during the first quarter of 2023:
Manitoba Ag Days: Keystone Center, Brandon. January 17-19, 2023
This is one of the most important fairs in the region where more than 50,000 attendees from Canada and the US are expected to participate, to enjoy more than 500 stands with everything related to new technologies applied to agriculture, farmers’ experiences, innovation, and equipment designed to improve agricultural production.
The Pacific Agriculture Show: Trade & Exhibition Centre, Abbotsford. January 26-28, 2023
The objective of this fair is to showcase the latest and most innovative equipment and technologies specifically designed to improve the agricultural industry.
More than 9,000 visitors are expected to attend this edition of the event to enjoy hundreds of exhibits where different topics will be discussed, especially those related to imports, machinery suppliers, the manufacture of dairy products, the cultivation of fruits and vegetables, infrastructure, and animal feed production.
National Poultry Show: Metroland Media Agriplex, London. February 8-9, 2023
One of the agricultural events in Canada where thousands of visitors will discover the technological innovations applied in the country’s poultry industry.
This is one of the most important poultry trade fairs in North America since it reunites the most important representatives of the poultry industry from Canada and other neighboring regions.
Those attending will visit hundreds of exhibits where they will learn about the latest in machinery, incubators, poultry products, vaccine manufacturing technology, resource improvement, as also participate in training workshops about the innovations that can be applied today in poultry farms.
Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Convention: Niagara Falls Convention Centre, Niagara Falls. February 22 – 23, 2023
One of the most important agricultural events in Canada for those involved in the world of vegetable cultivation, bringing together hundreds of fruit and vegetable growers to learn about innovations in the industry, new trends in horticultural business, consulting strategies, production, partnerships, research, and education.
The fair is an opportunity to reunite representatives not only from the horticultural sector, but also from different government institutions, consultants, researchers, and several associations that seek to strengthen and create new alliances to improve horticultural processes in the region.
More than 35,000 people are expected to attend this year’s event, which will feature hundreds of exhibits sponsored by some of the country’s leading horticultural manufacturers and distributors.
Canada Blooms: The Toronto Congress Centre, Toronto. February 22 – 26, 2023
One of the fairs that will welcome the spring season in the region since it’s the largest festival in the country that offers a sample of Canadian gardens and flowers.
More than 14,000 thousand visitors are expected to enjoy more than 250 exhibitions focused on offering all the necessary information to start growing gardens at home, provide knowledge, and promote the importance of horticulture in the country.
Each year the event brings together specialists from the horticultural world, floral designers, and flower producers from all over the country, as well as enthusiasts, companies, and traders, who will showcase a wide range of products and accessories designed for the home and garden.
Some of the most popular exhibits are the displays of horticultural and landscaping products, honey products, materials and tools used for the cultivation of flowers, decoration of ethnic gardens, construction accessories, as well as products for the care and maintenance of gardens, among others.

London Farm Show: Metroland Media Agriplex, London. March 08 – 10, 2023
Known as “Eastern Canada’s largest indoor farm show,” the event aims to bring together the country’s largest agricultural companies, which will showcase the latest technological innovations and agricultural machinery.
Participants will visit more than 300 exhibits, with the opportunity to do networking with suppliers and producers, obtain information on the new programs available for application in the world of agriculture, and learn about the best alternatives to boost the country’s agricultural industry.
Royal Manitoba Winter Fair: Brandon. March 27 – April 1, 2023
One of the largest agricultural events in Canada that expect almost 40,000 visitors, who will enjoy more than 500 exhibits focused not only on agriculture but also on the equine world.
Attendees will enjoy heavy horse jumping competitions, livestock sales, and displays, agricultural tools, innovations in quality practices, as well as commercial exhibits and live performances by artists.
AGRI Tech Venture Forum: Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, Toronto. May 3-4, 2023
On this occasion, a conference will be held to reunite the highest representatives of agricultural technology.
Some 250 delegates and more than 20 exhibitors, including investors, agricultural industry giants, and innovators, are expected to attend this year’s event, where they will exchange information on the latest technological advances, and the challenges facing the industry today.

Canada’s Farm Progress Show: Evraz Place, Regina. June 20 – 22, 2023
One of the most attractive fairs for agricultural producers and agricultural enthusiasts in Canada. It brings together participants from different parts of the country, including visitors, local producers, international customers, and exhibitors, to learn about all the technological advances available in the market, create new alliances and strengthen connections through networking.
More than 40,000 people are expected to attend the fair to enjoy almost 700 exhibits on agricultural equipment, products, livestock feed, seeds and fertilizers, new technologies applied to agricultural fields, and everything related to the agricultural and forestry industry.

Vermilion Agricultural Fair: Vermilion Agricultural Society, Vermilion. July 27 – 29, 2023
One of the traditional agricultural events in Canada, not only as the oldest that takes place in the west of the country but also because it brings together thousands of attendees from all parts of Canada reuniting fans, agricultural producers, and companies, which are focused on improving the social and agricultural needs of the region.
More than 20,000 people are expected to attend and enjoy more than 500 exhibits, a parade, agricultural exhibits, horse-drawn carriage races, a trade show, as well as classes for local youth who want to learn more about communicating with horses.
Canadian National Exhibition 2023: Toronto – Exhibition Place. August 18 – September 4, 2023
This is the largest fair in Canada that attracts millions of visitors from several regions of Canada, the rest of North America, and other countries to promote agriculture and technology in Canada.
According to historical records, the first Canadian National Exposition was held in 1879, traditionally capturing the attention of all professionals related to the agricultural world such as engineers, producers, livestock farmers, scientists, technology companies, traders, farmers, and amateurs, among others.

The exhibition gathers together a variety of agricultural professionals such as equipment manufacturers, dealers, and qualified buyers as a way to welcome a new planning season after the harvest.
Farmfair International: Edmonton Expo Centre, Edmonton. November 08 – 11, 2023
This is one of the most interesting shows for those involved in the cattle business in the country, known as the “premier business destination for the international cattle industry,” Farmfair is Alberta’s largest cattle event.
More than 500 exhibitors from Western Canada, including traders, wholesalers, and suppliers, will congregate to showcase the latest in livestock genetics to purebred producers, local ranchers, and international buyers.
One of the attractions of this fair is that, aside from offering entertainment and recreation, visitors will also acquire knowledge about livestock through the various workshops that will be held.
