2019 World Ag Expo

The 52nd edition of the World Ag Expo, will take place in the city of Tulare, California, United States, with the objective of raising awareness regarding all the new trends and tools that are making a difference in the agricultural industry worldwide. The expo will be held in the spaces of the International Center of Agriculture from February 12th to the 14th.

The best companies, professionals and specialists involved in the agricultural world, agree that this is one of the largest agricultural exhibitions carried out annually, which brings together more than 1,500 exhibitors from all over the world who will display their exhibitions in an area of 2.6 million square feet to showcase the latest in agriculture, technology and equipment.

The highlights of the agenda of the event:

The event will begin with the opening ceremony lead by the president of the American Farm Bureau, Zippy Duvall. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in several seminars on topics such as water, dairy products, international trade, government regulations and women’s participation in agriculture. Diverse industry professionals will be the main speakers of these seminars, providing valuable information to participants.

The innovation of this edition of the World Ag Expo includes the conference “Grow by FarmHer,” which will cover topics of interest for women who want to pursue a career in the world of agriculture. The special activities scheduled include: The Capitol Ministries Dinner on Tuesday night, the Prayer Breakfast on Wednesday morning and the California Leadership Foundation Breakfast on Thursday morning.

Before the annual exhibition, the “Top-10 New Products” competition is held where several farmers present cutting-edge products such as a heavy-duty electric forklift, up to a genomic test for dairy products, as well as a wireless irrigation valve control system, which were evaluated by a team of judges formed by farmers, ranchers and agricultural industry professionals. The winners of this edition will be recognized at the opening ceremony on Tuesday, February 12th, 2019.

According to the website of the International Agri Center, in addition to the innovations in agricultural machinery, one of the attractions of this edition will include demonstrations of guard dogs for cattle in the new demonstration pavilion, areas of Ride & Drive at the East and West ends of the grounds and a wide variety of new seminars covering everything from cannabis to automation in the agricultural industry.

An additional 20 acres of parking space will be provided east of the grounds of the International Center for Agriculture for the convenience of the attendees of the World Ag Expo.
