Agricultural Engineer and Ph.D. in Protected Agriculture
More about Luisa
Agricultural Engineer, Ph.D. in Protected Agriculture from the University of Almería. With more than 15 years of experience in protected-culture production in the tropics, she has participated in and coordinated various R&D projects in cooperation with universities, companies, and government agencies, focusing on the development of new plastic products for agricultural use in different countries. Since 2018, she has been in charge of the agricultural plastics division of the Armando Alvarez Group for the markets of Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, with a focus on the region’s floriculture and horticulture sectors.
